Petersen Aluminum Corporation (PAC) was founded in 1965 as a metals service center to the architectural metal industry. Petersen provides products of the highest possible quality within reliable, dependable lead times. Petersen’s strong national sales base allows for large inventories and cost economies for its customers.

Headquartered in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, located just outside of Chicago, Petersen also operates full production facilities in Annapolis Junction, Maryland; Tyler, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona and Acworth, Georgia, plus a regional sales office in Andover, Minnesota.

Technical assistance and service are available and complemented locally by a nationwide organization of architectural representatives who can offer assistance in material selection, finish specification and budgeting. Because Petersen’s scope of applications is so wide, inquiries are encouraged.

Metal Roofing

Metal roofing panels are ideally suited for application in curtainwall, storefront, roofing and trim applications. PAC-CLAD is an industry-leading coating for prefinished sheet metal. It is applied to both Galvalume steel and 3105-H14 aluminum. Originally developed for use in abrasive environments.

PAC-CLAD architectural panels for metal roofing systems are produced in factory formed lengths of up to 55 feet. They are also available in longer lengths. The PAC-CLAD Kynar 500 finish, covered by a non-prorated 30-year warranty, is available in 45 colors on steel and aluminum. Most colors meet LEED, ENERGY STAR and cool roof certification requirements. Selected profiles can be special ordered from 16 oz. copper.

Wall Panels

PAC-CLAD architectural wall panels provide design flexibility by combining bold visual effects with easy, cost-effective installation. Multiple profiles are available with a variety of rib patterns. Options for each profile include a no-clip panel, or a clip-fastened panel to accommodate expansion and contraction. The original Precision Series HWP profile features a 7/8” depth, while the Precision Series Highline profiles are 1-3/8” deep, and can be intermixed to add visual intensity to a building’s exterior. PAC-CLAD wall panels can be installed horizontally or vertically.

Soffit Panels

PAC-CLAD offers superior design versatility for metal roofing soffit applications. Our pre-formed profiles are effective solutions in soffit projects and can be ventilated for increased air flow capacity and are suitable for both commercial and residential use.

Exposed Fastener Panels

PAC-CLAD Exposed Fastener Panels provide unmatched flexibility for use in wall, interior and linear panel applications. These panels offer a cost-efficient yet architecturally attractive metal panel solution.

Available in several coverage widths, exposed fastener panel profiles are available in a full range of gauges and materials, including the 7.2 Rib, the 7/8″ corrugated panel, the 1/2″ Corrugated Panel and additional coverage widths. Corrugated profiles provide unmatched flexibility for use in metal roofing, wall and linear panel applications in a cost-efficient yet architecturally attractive metal panel.

Exposed fastener panels can be produced perforated for a variety of exterior projects, such as equipment screens. Perforated corrugated panels are also highly suitable for interior acoustical applications.

Perforated Metal

Petersen Aluminum offers several wall and soffit profiles for perforation in a nearly endless combination of hole sizes and patterns to complement virtually any architectural design or need. Perforated metal can provide a contrasting look with any non-perforated metal to create visual interest on any project. Perforated panels can be specified to diffuse light, air or sound, or simply for architectural flair. Typical applications include equipment screens, partitions, sign panels, parking decks, guards, interior acoustical applications and enclosures of any kind. Aluminum can be perforated for any project, but perforated steel is limited to interior applications only. An extra charge is applied for perforation. Check with local facility for specific panel profiles that can be perforated. A 20-year finish warranty is offered on perforated material.

Fascia Systems

Petersen Aluminum’s perimeter/roof edge product line provides the complete system to ensure a clean, sure-fitting product while eliminating the need for field fabrication. All of our perimeter systems are produced in 12’-0” lengths for an estimated 20 to 40 percent savings in material handling over the typical 8’ or 10’ lengths. Our perimeter systems are competitively priced while providing superior strength, aesthetics and ease of installation. With Petersen’s perimeter systems, you can be assured you are meeting, and in most cases exceeding, the specifications.

Coping Systems

Petersen’s coping systems are the complete package, providing specifiers and contractors with unmatched strength, beauty, ease of installation and verified performance through rigorous testing. Available in many versions, PAC-Tite coping systems provide versatility for use on a variety of parapet conditions, including flat, tapered and existing slope.

Featuring a snap-on design, the coping products ensure positive attachment and stability to the roof edge system. PAC-Tite, PAC-Tite Gold and Continuous Cleat coping systems are FM-approved for wind uplift protection, and tested per the ANSI/SPRI/FM 4435 ES-1 Standard. Superior engineering does not compromise the coping system’s simplicity, as it is designed for easy installation to reduce labor costs.

Column Covers

PAC-CLAD’s line of round and square column covers offers architects superior design flexibility for structural beam applications, both interior and exterior. Utilizing a wide range of materials, including aluminum in an unmatched range of standard and custom colors, anodized aluminum, aluminum composite, stainless steel and copper, Petersen can custom fabricate to meet the most demanding specifications.

Metal Fabrication

In addition to offering the industry’s widest selection of Kynar finishes in steel and aluminum, PAC-CLAD also offers pre-painted aluminum and mill finish sheet and coil in a variety of gauges. With state-of-the-art cut to length and slitting equipment, Petersen can provide coil and flat sheet to the most exacting specifications.
